Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Rehab RN for a contract position at the Rehabilitation Pavilion at Northport Medical Center in Northport, AL.
About the Role
Travel to various units and hospitals as needed. Acceptable work schedules include 36 or 48 hours per week. Floating between units may be required. Holidays and weekends are occasionally required.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour medical monitoring and care to patients.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and therapists.
- Utilize advanced therapy equipment to aid patient recovery.
- Participate in daily rounds with healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Required: Associate degree in nursing.
- Required: Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Alabama or a compact license.
- Required: AHA BLS certification.
- Required: Red Cross certification.
- Required: Recent experience in rehabilitation nursing, 2 years preferred but 18 months may be considered.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
- Must be available for holidays and weekends as required.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment and techniques.
