About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing individualized nursing care to patients. This includes coordinating care, performing patient assessments, educating patients, managing triage, and implementing various nursing interventions. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, is essential for planning, implementing, and evaluating care.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care
  • Coordinate care and manage patient assessments
  • Provide patient education and triage
  • Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise
  • Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications

Pay

$25.50 - $38.50 per hour

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM for Saturdays and Sundays.
