RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Full Time Nights 25K NEW RATES

Vibra Hospital of Denver, located in Thornton, CO, is a 54-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Manage personnel and coordinate nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established philosophy, objectives, and policies of the hospital.
• Work with employees and other managers to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations.
• Provide training, information, and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Three (3) years experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• CCRN preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Pay

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A $25,000 retention bonus is available for this position.
