Vibra Hospital of Fargo, located in Fargo, ND, is a 31-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families.

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) develops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Healthcare. Responsibilities include direct care, delegation, and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the role include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality of care, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise a plan of care for assigned patients and families.
  • Provide direct nursing care and delegate/supervise care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate clinical competence and manage patient care effectively.
  • Improve quality of care and establish professional relationships.
  • Fulfill responsibilities of the hospital role and develop clinical expertise in the specialty.

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
  • Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.
  • Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Pay

Full-time employees are eligible for a $10,000 bonus. Participants in the Clinical Career Ladder are eligible for pay increases after successful completion of the Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert levels.
