About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. They collaborate with residents, families, and other interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. They care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. They coordinate care, assess residents, educate residents, and perform various other nursing interventions. They may serve as charge nurses and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to delegates to ensure safe and reliable care
  • Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules

Requirements

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications

Qualifications

Pay

$32.50 - $48.00 per hour

Schedule

Part time, 18.00 weekly hours
