Responsibilities

• Affirms patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, monitoring outcomes according to nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, evaluating the effectiveness of teaching.
• Encourages patient engagement in healthcare through motivational interviewing, self-management protocols, and teach-back methodology.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing [Preferred]
• 1+ years of medical office experience [Preferred]
• Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification (BLS) [Required]

Qualifications

• Knowledge of organizational procedures and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to verbalize and interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong customer relations and basic grammar/spelling skills.

Skills

• Therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Teaching and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Self-management protocols and teach-back methodology.

Schedule

Part-time 32 hours/week; Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 9am-4pm and Thursday 9am- 1pm or 3pm-7pm alternating weeks.

Pay

$31.60 - $50.56 per hour.
