RN - Registered Nurse - PACU

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications

• Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, RN (Registered Nurse) license, ACLS Certification, Nurse Specialty certification preferred.
• Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required, Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: 2 years of RN experience required, 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency preferred.
• Specific Skills: Interpersonal skills, Critical thinking skills, Clinical skills appropriate to position.
