RN Registered Nurse Night Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Registered Nurse Night Supervisor to join our team at Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. As a Night Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents while ensuring a smooth transition of shifts.

You will supervise a team of Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) during the evening hours, focusing on high-quality care, patient satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. You will also address any concerns or issues that arise during the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of Registered Nurses and CNAs during the evening hours
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and patient satisfaction
• Monitor and report any concerns or issues that may arise during the night shift
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition of shifts
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports and progress notes

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
