Responsibilities
- Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
Qualifications
- Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required, RN (Registered Nurse) license is required, ACLS Certification, if required by department, Nurse Specialty certification is preferred.
- Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required, Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of RN experience is required.
- Specific Skills: Interpersonal skills, Critical thinking skills, Clinical skills appropriate to position.
