About the role

The UW Medical Center - Montlake is seeking an Experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join their award-winning team. They have 150 deliveries per month, with 70% of their OB moms being high-risk and medically complex. The department provides care for up to 14 antepartum patients, 9 labor and delivery patients, and 18 postpartum mother-baby pairs. They staff according to AWHONN standards and are a certified Baby-Friendly Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Care for up to 14 antepartum patients, 9 labor and delivery patients, and 18 postpartum mother-baby pairs.
• Staff according to AWHONN standards.
• Provide care for up to 14 antepartum patients, 9 labor and delivery patients, and 18 postpartum mother-baby pairs.
• Staff according to AWHONN standards.
• Provide outpatient services if needed.

Requirements

• One or more years as a labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Washington or MSL.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.

Compensation, Benefits And Position Details

• Pay Range: Minimum $46.97 hourly, Maximum $86.17 hourly.
• Other Compensation: BSN or higher premium $1.00/hour, Certification premium $1.25/hour, Night shift differential $5.00/hour, Weekend shift differential $4.00/hour; Sunday night premium $3.00/hour, Overtime Pay.
