RN Registered Nurse Full Time

About the Role

Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50-bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32-bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise a plan of care for assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Healthcare.
• Provide direct care along with delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and manage patient care.
• Improve quality of care and establish professional relationships utilizing professional skills.
• Fulfill responsibilities of the hospital role and develop clinical expertise per specialty.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Qualifications/Skills

• Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $41.00 to $64.56 per hour.

• Weekday Night Shift Differential: $5.00/hour.
• Weekend Night Shift Differential: $6.50/hour.
• LVN/RN may also be eligible for NOC & Weekend Day differentials ranging from $3.00 to $6.50 per hour, depending upon the date/time worked.
