RN/ Registered Nurse -Fridley/Elk River

Job Overview

Fairview has an immediate opening for an RN to join their team at the Fridley and Elk River clinics. This is a temporary position for approximately six-seven (6-7) months and is benefit-eligible during the temporary period. It is a 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two-week pay period) on the day shift. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be scheduled within these hours.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
• Implement nursing interventions based on plan of care.
• Evaluate care and the patient’s response to interventions and expected outcomes.
• Deliver care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.
• Use communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
• Continuously work to improve work processes, environment, and the overall experience to serve customers and meet business goals.

Requirements

• RN license in the state of practice, some positions may require additional state RN licenses.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous healthcare experience in an ambulatory setting.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross).

Skills

• Ability to assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Knowledge of implementing nursing interventions based on plan of care.
• Experience evaluating care and the patient’s response to interventions and expected outcomes.
• Proficiency in delivering care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience continuously working to improve work processes, environment, and the overall experience to serve customers and meet business goals.

Pay

Compensation within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Schedule

The RN is scheduled within the clinic hours of Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
