RN Registered Nurse Endoscopy

About the Role

Seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Team. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Endoscopy patients pre, intra, and post-procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ records, including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or hold appropriate compact licensure. If compact license is held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Prior Endoscopy nursing experience highly preferred.
• National specialty board certification required within 6 months of eligibility.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
• PC skills.

About the Facility

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 380+ bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL, on a thirteen-acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto Counties, verified by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement, and inpatient rehabilitation.
