RN Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology Lab - 40 Hours Weekly - Day Shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday position 6:30am-3:00pm. No weekend or holiday coverage.
Call component consists of finishing the day, not overnight call.
Late shift is about 2-3 times a week.
Unit Description
Henry Ford St John Hospital’s Electrophysiology Cath Lab is a 2-Lab department that conducts approximately 3-6 procedures per day (with growth and increased volume anticipated soon!).
Our patient population is strictly adults (18 years and older), both inpatient and outpatient, that are admitted via our inpatient units, observation unit, or directly via the Emergency Department.
Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, no weekends or holidays required.
We do require on call coverage, including finishing the day, but overnight coverage is not required.
We are a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Registered Nurses, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialists and Unit Support.
Our unit fosters a growth mindset through annual and on-going education.
Education/Experience Required
- BSN preferred
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
Certifications/Licensures Required
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
