RN, Registered Nurse Critical Care: PT 7a-7p

About the role

Firelands Health is seeking a Nurse to join our team. The position offers a retention bonus of $5,000.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process with patients including carrying out physicians' orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments; monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
• Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains availability of medications and supplies; ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
• Demonstrate service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for Firelands Medical Center (FRMC).

Requirements

• Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience.
• Prioritize at least 1 year of experience.
• Current ACLS, Basic EKG, and ECCO required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
• CCRN and TNCC certification is preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.
