RN, Registered Nurse - Coushatta General Surgery - PRN

Responsibilities

• Maintains competency in OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provides nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families based on their level of practice.
• Administers medications and treatments according to protocols, monitors for side effects and effectiveness, and documents care provided.
• Affirms learning needs and educates patients, family members, and caregivers; identifies issues and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license in state of employment or compact.
• Work schedule: PRN, Per Diem, As Needed.
