About the role

As a Registered Nurse at HCA Florida Blake Hospital, you’ll have all the staffing support, technology, and resources you need to deliver safe, high-quality care—so you can focus on what you do best. We are seeking an OR Charge Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise ensuring all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intraoperative patients
• Assist surgeons in operative procedures
• Maintain and review patients’ records, including posting tests and examination results
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
• Provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift

Requirements

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or hold appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license is held)
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and basic PC skills

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 380+ bed hospital located on a thirteen-acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches in Bradenton, FL.
