RN, Registered Nurse | Cardiology Clinic

About the role

Emplify Health, a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Clinic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy day shifts, meaningful patient relationships, and the work you love—all in the beautiful coulee region of western Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their cardiac care journey.
• Work 72 hours per pay period (0.9 FTE).
• Schedule includes 8-hour day shifts between 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements).
• Provide our signature LOVE + MEDICINE to patients at our Main Clinic in La Crosse, with potential hours at our Onalaska Clinic.
• Perform a wide range of ambulatory cardiology nursing functions, including:
• Phone triage and patient education for cardiac procedures.
• Meditation refills and optimization visits.
• Managing Epic In-Basket and MyChart patient messages.
• Aiding with cardiac procedure coordination.
• Enjoy opportunities to cross-train and work in additional cardiology subspecialties.

Requirements

• Minimum of associate degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in cardiology and/or ambulatory setting.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
