RN- Registered Nurse

Ebenezer is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for ensuring the safety and health needs of adult long-term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work, and more, you’ll join the Jones-Harrison Skilled Nursing community in Minneapolis, MN, near beautiful Cedar Lake.

About the Role

Supported by a Nurse Leader (DON), CNAs, and multidisciplinary departments, this casual nursing position offers a flexible schedule with 3 shifts per month, including 1 weekend shift, at $47/hour.

Responsibilities

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan.
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Assesses care plans, resident goals, and revises or modifies as needed.
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status, and cares provided.

Requirements

• Current MN RN license or ability to obtain by start date.
• Enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain certification; BLS certification required upon hire or within three weeks of hire (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers).

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems.
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN, or RN.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families, and physicians or providers.

Pay

This position offers a flat hourly rate of $47/hour, with regular reviews to ensure competitiveness with the market.

Schedule
