About the role
We provide skilled nursing care to people recently discharged from the hospital, needing therapy, and those needing long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
- Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
- Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data
- Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care
- Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others
- Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
- Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions
- Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN’s and CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
Requirements
- Licensed to work within the State of Maryland as a RN
- Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation
- Professionally & Clinically Skilled with leadership qualities
