About the Role
We provide skilled nursing care to people recently discharged from the hospital, needing therapy, and to those needing long-term care. Part-time, weekend, and PRN positions are available for experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications (oral, topical, IV, injectable)
- Perform treatments such as wound care/prevention, pain management, and dressing applications
- Conduct health assessments, track changes, and analyze data
- Create, update, and execute individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and others to strategize care
- Educate residents and families on health status, changes, and care expectations
- Maintain detailed documentation of health status, care, progress, and interactions
- Oversee and delegate to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care and teamwork
Requirements
- Licensed to work as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Connecticut
- Able to pass a background check, drug screen, professional references check, and physical evaluation
- Professionally and clinically skilled with leadership qualities
