RN / Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Float Pool (Per Diem)
About the role
The UW Medical Center-Montlake - Ambulatory Float Pool seeks a Per Diem Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a variety of ambulatory settings.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient care in a multitude of ambulatory settings
- Performs phone triage
- Answers patient MyChart messages
- Performs independent patient assessments in specialty care settings
- Administers medications and injections
- Follows up on medical records and test results
- Aids with patient admissions and record keeping
- Captures medical and nursing care across the UW Medicine system
- Documents patient care outcomes in our EHR system (Epic)
- Aids with minimally invasive ambulatory procedures
Requirements
- 2 years of recent ambulatory or medical-surgical nursing experience
- Familiarity with phone triage standards
- Active BLS certification
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State

Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly Other Compensation: BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour Certification premium - $1.25/hour Float premium - $5.00/hour Overtime pay
