RN Radiation Oncology
About the role
Assesses and diagnoses patients' and families needs to provide quality care. Develops and communicates realistic problem lists for each patient in collaboration with the patient and family. Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided. Promotes effective working relations and works as part of a team to meet departmental goals and objectives. Maintains current knowledge, certification, and licensure, and pursues ongoing professional growth and development. Provides patient education and support to address identified needs. Monitors and evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans as necessary. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Requirements
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in healthcare policies and procedures.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
