Pay: $35.53 per hour

Schedule

• Days, 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday
• Full-Time: 40 hours per week
• Part-Time: 20 hours per week
• No nights, no weekends, no holidays

Responsibilities

• Treat and prevent minor injuries and illnesses, ensuring all medical clinical care is provided to students.
• Provide information and guidance for the promotion of good health and well-being of students.
• Provide nursing care to students as authorized by the medical provider and within scope of state-specific nurse practice act.
• Supervise staff LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse)/LVNs to ensure compliance with all state regulations, scope of practice, and nurse practice act for practical and/or vocational nurses.
• Provide basic health care to students as required by DOL, including all entry requirements and immunizations.
• Monitor students with illness who are unable to attend class.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and be available outside of regularly scheduled work hours to provide consultation, guidance, and support for urgent situations.

Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
• Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity is preferred.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
