RN - Progressive Care-Renal

About the role

Nurses on this unit provide advanced renal and dialysis care, including hemodialysis, CCPD, and CAPD. They also specialize in telemetry monitoring, ensuring close patient oversight and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent holistic care based on the nursing process to assigned patients and families.
• Work closely with physicians, dialysis specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Manage a 4:1 patient ratio to ensure manageable workloads and high-quality care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Preferred one year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• Required: RN (Registered Nurse) license from the State of Missouri.
• Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA.
• Preferred: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from AHA, to be obtained within one year of hire.
