RN Program Coordinator ECMO

Job Summary

The Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Coordinator plans, develops, implements, and manages the Adult ECMO program. This includes oversight of patient care activities, revision of clinical policies and procedures, and collaborative responsibility for maintaining the quality of ECMO services. The ECMO Coordinator works closely with the multidisciplinary team across the continuum from the time a patient is placed on ECMO until discharge. This position also has accountability for coordination of activities including patient education, staff education, surgical coordination, and data collection.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN)

  • Registered Nurse Required

  • 5 years Cardiovascular Intensive Care or Cardiology related experience

  • PREFERRED: Background in cardio-vascular surgery, and critical care nursing care

Pay

Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.

Hours are typically full-time, but may vary based on department needs.
