Responsibilities
- Accountable for the care of a group of patients, focusing on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
- Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit while promoting personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework.
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members.
- Apply the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Focus on patient and family comforts, education, and satisfaction.
- Deliver quality care and mentor/precept staff using educational and professional experiences.
Qualifications
- No experience required for full-time or part-time positions. If PRN, must have one year of RN/LPN experience in an inpatient, acute-care setting.
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
