Responsibilities
- Accountable for the care of a group of patients, focusing on safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
- Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit while promoting personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework.
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members.
- Apply the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Focus on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction.
- Deliver quality care and mentor/precept staff using educational and professional experiences.
- Meet additional department-specific requirements and competencies outlined in the Competency Evaluation Profile (CEP), which reflect the unique needs, skills, and expectations of each clinical area and are regularly reviewed for alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- No experience required for full-time or part-time positions.
- If PRN, must have one year of RN/LPN experience in an inpatient, acute-care setting.
- Diploma or Associate degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
