About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at GSS MN Pine River is dedicated to providing quality care and service in a Christian environment. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, and coordinating care across all phases of preventative, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide direct care to residents, including medication management, patient monitoring, and assisting with daily activities.
• Coordinate care with other departments and staff members to ensure seamless resident care.
• Assume responsibility as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as necessary.
• Ensure the safety and reliability of resident care by providing adequate assistance and support to delegates.
• Adhere to the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, with varying shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours).
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to nursing practice.

Pay

$38.00 - $48.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

PRN (Per Request Notified) schedule with varying weekly hours, typically ranging from 8 to 40 hours per week, depending on the individual's availability and the facility's needs.
