RN- Private Duty Nursing
Maxim Healthcare is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care, under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor.
About the role
This is a 1:1 position in a pediatric home setting in Elmhurst, IL, specializing in care for patients with G tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators (Astral).
Schedule
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Tuesday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Wednesday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay
$35–$45 per hour
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Performs focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.
- Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from healthcare members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Performs other Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current Nursing License in the state of practice.
- Current Health Certificate (per facility).
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
