About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high‑quality care that truly impacts patients' well‑being and recovery. Responsibilities

• Adhere to department and hospital policies, including safety, risk management, and regulatory standards.
• Stay current with trends, developments, and regulatory requirements affecting your scope of responsibility.
• Administer, oversee, and document medication administration (topical, oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous) per physician orders and hospital policy.
• Assess patients holistically—physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental, and spiritual needs—and gather relevant data.
• Implement appropriate patient interventions, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Prepare patients for discharge and coordinate post‑discharge needs.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence, using appropriate communication tools and understanding cultural impacts on care.
• Provide care to the department’s defined patient populations with knowledge and skill.
• Engage in professional growth opportunities and demonstrate self‑accountability for mandatory requirements.
• Document care delivered and patient status using the nursing process in accordance with FHS standards.
• Receive and ensure appropriateness, accuracy, timeliness, and execution of physician orders.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with airway emergencies (laryngospasms, airway obstruction, stridor, arrest).
• Graduate of an ICU residency with a minimum of six months ICU experience.
• Registered Nurse license in Washington state upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience (within the last 3 years) in an acute, inpatient PACU setting, or certification as a Post‑Anesthesia Nurse or Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse upon hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and one year of related acute‑care experience.

Pay

Pay Range: $47.86 – $90.42 per hour.
