RN Per Diem

Location: 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ

About the role

Provides quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process using evidence based practice focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience within the framework of Shared Governance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and Coordinate Total Patient Care
• Documentation of Care
• Maintain Professional Development
• Education of patient and family
• Patient Advocate
• Maintain Patient Safety

Qualifications

• Education: All hires after July 2012 require a Bachelor's Degree in nursing; or an Associate's Degree/Diploma with proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire, continuous enrollment, and completion within 5 years of hire/internal RN promotion date. An Associate's Degree plus 2 years of specialty experience is accepted in lieu of a BSN.
• Experience: Required: one year acute care experience. Preferred: acute pediatric experience.
• License/Certification: Required: current NJ RN licensure, American Heart Association CPR certification, PALS certification within one year of hire. Preferred: certification in specialty.
