RN - Pediatrics

About the role

The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated. Position reports directly to the Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegates patient care tasks to other patient care staff.
• Supervises other patient care staff.
• Coordinates the care for a group of patients.
• Consults with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Requirements

• Current West Virginia RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills.

Skills

• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of pediatric care practices and protocols.

Pay

The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.

Schedule

The shift will be determined by each hiring manager.
