RN - Pediatric Nurse

About the role

The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care/treatment to clients per Physicians Orders and Plan of Care, documents nursing actions, administers and monitors medication, conducts nursing assessments, follows policies and procedures, implements nursing support, and ensures compliance with physician’s orders.

Responsibilities

• Documents nursing actions
• Administers and monitors medication
• Conducts nursing assessments as needed
• Follows policies and procedures
• Implements nursing support for individuals in a home setting
• Addresses health needs of individuals with the help of the Director or Nursing/Nurse Supervisor and/or Branch Manager
• Participates in staff meetings, in-services, and other meetings as needed
• Ensures compliance with physician’s verbal orders and medical reports

Requirements

• Registered Nurse degree from an accredited school
• One or more years of nursing experience preferred
• Current and unrestricted license in the state of the operation
• CPR professional certification
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
• Capable of working independently with highly confidential information
