Job Summary
The Saint Elizabeth Emergency Department offers state-of-the-art technology and specialized care for stroke, burn, and trauma patients. We are accredited and verified in these areas, and our team is prepared to respond quickly to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care following physician orders
- Educate patients and families on prevention and healthy habits
- Maintain patient conditions and assess needs
- Collaborate with physicians and other nurses to develop care plans
- Administer medications and provide treatments as directed
- Create a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families
Compensation
Base rate + shift differential
Incentives: up to $10,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)
Tuition reimbursement - $5,525 for full-time and $2,750 for part-time
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where you will be working
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- One to two years of experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Specialty certification (such as PCCN, CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferred
