We seek an RN PCU to join our healthcare family. The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served
- Promotes customer service initiatives along with Skyline Medical Center Service Values (HCAHPS)
- All behaviors fully support positive customer service (HCAHPS)
- Documents all patient care
- Utilized Nursing Process for individual care to meet needs of patients
- Demonstrates ability to perform technical skills and procedures
- Promotes compliance with National Patient Safety Goals
- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or appropriate compact state
- Appropriate communication skills
- Education – ASN, BSN preferred

About the Facility
