RN Patient Care Supervisor - OI Perianesthesia

About the role

As a Patient Care Supervisor in the OI Perianesthesia department, you will oversee patient care teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient patient outcomes. You will be responsible for managing staff schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and providing guidance on clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Manage staff schedules and resources to meet departmental needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in the administration of patient care.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license in Minnesota.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in perianesthesia or critical care preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of infection control practices and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is typically Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend shifts required.
