RN Patient Care Supervisor – Critical Care
About the role
Allina Health is a not-for-profit health system caring for individuals, families, and communities in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. As a supervisor in the clinical setting, this role involves supervising and evaluating employee performance, assisting with recruitment and hiring, onboarding, orienting, and supporting staff. The role also includes assisting the Patient Care Manager in the responsibility for day-to-day operations and clinical coordination of the unit.
Responsibilities

- Onboards, orients, and provides ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to staff.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or Associate's or Vocational degree in nursing, with related Bachelor's degree or active enrollment in a BSN/BAN program.
- 3 to 7 years of inpatient hospital nursing experience.
- Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required if working in Minnesota.
- Licensed Registered Nurse - WI Dept of Safety & Professional Services required if working in Wisconsin.
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required.
- ACLS required for identified units per hiring manager.
- Certification in clinical specialty preferred.
Physical Demands
Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently. 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period), 8-hour day shifts, No weekends.
Pay
Pay Range: $52.24 to $72.28 per hour. The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
Schedule
This position provides PCS support for both 3900/20 (medical/surgical/cardiac ICU) and 4400 (neuro ICU).
