RN PACU Registered Nurse

About the role

Catholic Medical Center is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role involves providing immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, managing airway support, monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and collaborating with the surgical and anesthesia team.

Responsibilities

• Manage airway support and closely monitor neurological and cardiac status
• Respond promptly to any complications or side effects
• Provide initial wound care to the patients’ surgical site
• Ensure patient stability during recovery
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team
• On-call availability during select non-business hours

Requirements

• Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Specialty certification in PACU preferred
