RN PACU Full-Time, Surgery Center – Glendale

Responsibilities

• Planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care in the pre‑operative period.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
• Performing pre‑ and post‑operative teaching to patients and/or their significant others.
• Managing patient complications and emergencies preoperatively and postoperatively.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor for patients and staff.
• Effectively communicating and setting a positive patient experience for patients and families.
• Utilizing appropriate services to communicate with staff and patients with speech and hearing disorders.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent PACU experience (hospital or ambulatory surgery center) with direct patient care and use of patient monitoring equipment.

Pay

$60.00 - $62.00 per hour
