Job Summary
The RN participates as a member of the health care team in delivering quality health care to patients, which supports Kaiser Permanente's mission, vision, and values.
About the role
This position requires a minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years. Additionally, a minimum of two (2) years of experience circulating in an inpatient or ambulatory surgery operating room in the past five (5) years is required. A graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities

- Utilizes a critical thinking approach to problem solve and make decisions.
- Provides evidence-based, clinically competent nursing care in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Facilitates member wellness and function and identifies needs for health care interventions.
- Performs and modifies therapeutic and preventive nursing measures and administers treatments and medications as authorized by law and determined by the State Board of Nursing.
- Participates in population-based care activities.
- Documents the nursing care provided which demonstrates the application of the nursing process and complies with departmental and/or organizational standards.
- Applies effective oral and written communication skills in interacting with patients, families, and members of the health care team.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
- Basic Life Support
- Nurse Operating Room Certificate (US-CNOR) preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (US-ACLS) preferred
- Current or future bachelors degree in nursing or related field
- Previous experience with population care/case management, triage and advice
- Current or future Nurse Operating Room Certificate (US-CNOR) preferred
- Current or future Advanced Cardiac Life Support (US-ACLS) preferred
- Current or future IV start skills
Qualifications

Pay
The posted pay range is $53.28 - $79.02 / hour. Actual base pay determined at offer will be based on labor market data, internal alignment, and a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM.
