RN Ortho Med/Surg - Full Time Nights

Employment Type: Full time, 12-hour night shift (7pm to 7am). Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends.

About the Role

We are looking to hire Registered Nurses (RNs) for our 36-bed Ortho Medical/Surgical Unit in Nampa. This unit treats patients with medical, surgical, and orthopedic needs, covering a wide range of conditions and illnesses. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance package.

The unit operates under the Together Care Team Model, which includes Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. This structure enhances patient care and offers opportunities for professional growth into other specialties, such as Emergency Room and Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the healthcare team in the ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Works in a broad range of capacities, including delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, and teaching of the patient and their family.

Requirements

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).
