About the Role

We are looking to hire Registered Nurses (RN) for our Ortho Medical/Surgical Unit in Nampa! This is a 36-bed unit that treats patients with Medical, Surgical, and Orthopedic needs, including a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses such as wound care and minor trauma cases.

Introducing a new care model: Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care™—a transformational team care model designed to improve patient care while providing nurses and care partners with new opportunities and support. Locally based virtual RNs (vRNs) provide 24/7 care and collaborate with bedside RNs and care partners to deliver excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• In addition to providing hands-on nursing care, works and serves in a broad range of capacities including delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, and teaching of the patient and the patient’s family.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).

Schedule

Full Time Days, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM).
