RN Ortho Med/Surg FT Nights

About the role

We are looking to hire Registered Nurses (RN) for our Ortho Medical/Surgical Unit in Nampa. This is a 36-bed unit that treats patients with Medical, Surgical, and Orthopedic needs, including wound care and minor trauma cases.

Self Schedule: Full Time Nights, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends. The unit operates under the Together Care Team Model, which includes Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. This structure enhances patient care and offers opportunities for professional growth into other specialties, such as Emergency Room and Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Works and serves in a broad range of capacities including delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, and teaching of the patient and the patient’s family.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).
