About the role
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN Unit Manager plans, coordinates, provides, and manages nursing care, services, and health education to residents. The role involves overseeing clinical operations of the unit, supervising nurses and CNAs, interfacing with physicians, providing quality improvement (QI) reporting and follow-up, and offering clinical expertise to staff as needed. The Unit Manager will also provide care for the most clinically acute patients and residents.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted license by the North Carolina Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience as an RN, preferably in long-term care.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long-term care.
- Nursing management experience preferred.
- BSN preferred.
