About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our long-term care facility. This position involves 12-hour shifts, averaging 30 hours per week, with every third weekend and holiday rotation required.
Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Responsibilities
RN
- Organize and provide care to residents through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- Contribute to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia Health, meeting requirements of regulatory or accrediting agencies.
LPN
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame.
- Provide care via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Work cooperatively and independently, maintaining efficiency under stress.
Requirements
- Current RN or LPN licensure in the state(s) of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire.
Pay
- RN: $37.10 – $55.65 per hour (based on experience).
- LPN: $25.22 – $37.83 per hour (based on experience).
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, averaging 30 hours per week.
- Every third weekend and holiday rotation required.
- Day rotation (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM).
