Responsibilities
- Develops the plan of care and collaborates with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
- Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
- Makes sure all safety regulations are followed by assigned staff.
- Follows established procedures for charting and incident reporting.
- Documents any change in patient's conditions.
- Notifies applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
- Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
Qualifications
- Current LVN/LPN or RN license in practicing state.
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
- Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.
