RN or LPN- Cancer Center (Part Time)

Adheres to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines. Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission, and vision of the organization. Completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures. Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility through self-education and attendance at ongoing educational programs. Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services, requirements, and competency evaluations on time.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, attends training and demonstrates usage of age-specific customer service skills.
• Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as required.
• May be exposed to high noise levels, bright lights, hazardous substances, body fluids, or infectious organisms.
• May be required to change tasks rapidly without loss of efficiency or composure.
• Handles periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads.
• May be scheduled as needed, including overtime.

Working Conditions

• Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area with moderate noise levels.

Qualifications

Education

• 2-year / Associate Degree from a state-accredited School of Professional Nursing (Required)
• 4-year / Bachelor's Degree from a state-accredited School of Professional Nursing (Preferred)

Experience

• 1–2 years of Nursing Experience (Preferred)

Certifications and Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license (Required)
• ONS Chemo Provider Certification or within six months of hire (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
