Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care based on the nursing process.
- Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care.
- Participates in activities to achieve clinical, financial and organizational outcomes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of nursing process, social, behavioral and biological sciences.
- Able to provide age and culturally specific care to the population served.
- Ability to analyze data, synthesize and summarize information and make judgements regarding patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- For specialty areas, related experience and qualifications may be required.
- Education: Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN strongly preferred.
- MA RN license and BLS required (Some departments require ACLS or PALS).
