About the Role

Provides direct patient care in perioperative settings, including the Operating Room and PACU, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to safety standards. Demonstrates proficiency in nursing processes, collaborates within multidisciplinary teams, and mentors new staff or students.

Responsibilities

• Performs top-of-scope nursing duties in perioperative settings.
• Supports clinical education and mentors new staff or students.
• Contributes to quality and safety at the point of care.
• Ensures compliance with certifications and standards.
• Maintains competence through ongoing education.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure.
• 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.
• BLS certification (mandatory).
